GUTTURNIO AND CLASSIC GUTTURNIO
It is obtained by the grapes of the wine varieties “Barbera” and “Croatina” (locally called “Bonarda”) correspondingly of 55-70% and 30-45%; Gutturnio presents bright ruby red colour, of various intensities, a characteristic winy aroma with dry, medium sweet flavour, fresh still or sparkling. It is sparkling only in the Gutturnio version and it should be served at the ideal temperature of 18° C. It accompanies soups and white meats. Its minimum alcoholic content is 12% by volume.
